My name, as you have finally figured out already, is Douglas Schenek. I am a freelance graphic designer but maybe when the right opportunity strikes, I'll go for full-time employment. My main area of interest are many things including art renditions, black and white pencil drawings, posters, cd/dvd cover design and 3D animation. I do fancy 3D animation although I've never attempted to actually work on more than one 3D project, its still something that interest me and hope to take up in the future. I have received my certification in Graphic Design.

I was born in 1983 in Cleveland, Ohio and been living there ever since. I always lived a casual lifestyle, I grew up with 2 brothers, a sister and a Mom and Dad. I couldn't forget the little guy, my dog Chewy. I am the youngest of the bunch and proud to be one of the few gifted in my entire side of the family to have the touch of art inside me. My siblings are also very talented, my sister is also a graphic artist and my two brothers both share likenesses in radio and tv. I owe my life to my parents who have helped me get where I am today. Thanks Mom and Dad!!

I began to get into computers around the early 90's when my Dad first showed me Printshop which I thought was spectacular for its time. Photoshop would eventually end up in my face and would soon become the first actual software program I started to get involved in. Most of my art work of today consist of Photoshop elements although I don't limit myself to any one program.

In my free time, I enjoy dabbling with digital video and audio, making miscellaneous websites and digital art. I also do a little writing on the side, mostly science fiction and horror stories. You'll find an absurd amount of horror in my art, a lot more dark colors, I'm devoted to anything really scary.

Cleveland is a great place to be, for the most part, I hope to move out somewhere where the climate is nice all year round. Up here in the Midwest can be beautiful as we do get all four seasons year round but most if this is spent in cold weather. I would very much love to continue my education further into the field of graphic design and find something meaningful in this career.
